Modern Engineering Opens Engineering Center in Shanghai, China

ROCHESTER HILLS, Mich.--Nov. 7, 2005--Modern Engineering, Inc. has opened an engineering center in PuDong, Shanghai - home to the world's busiest port and one of the fastest growing economic, commercial, financial and automotive centers of the People's Republic of China.

The center is located on the 25th floor of the Lucky Tower, which stands in the heart of the PuDong New District, China's financial and commercial hub. The office faces the Yangtze River - the longest river in Asia and the third longest in the world.

Modern Engineering Vice President of China Operations Kai Liu said the new Shanghai office represents another significant resource for Modern to serve the global needs of its clients.

"Our presence in Shanghai, along with our engineering and testing centers in Romania, India and Israel, furthers Modern Engineering's goal to provide competitively priced, full-service engineering, design and manufacturing solutions on a global scale," Liu said.
