First Advantage Opens Employment Screening Operation in Manila

ST. PETERSBURG, Fla., Nov. 3, 2005 -- First Advantage Corporation , a global risk mitigation and business solutions provider, today announced that it has opened an employment screening office in Manila, Philippines to help serve the increasing overseas demand for screening by multinational corporations.

Capitalizing on a favorable economy, multinational corporations are expanding current facilities or opening new offices in the Philippines -- activities that create demand for pre-employment screening of that area's growing workforce. The new First Advantage office will employ approximately 50 persons whose efforts will primarily focus on providing regional employment and education verification services for job candidates.

As part of its international expansion strategy, First Advantage acquired the leading Asian Pacific screening company, Quest Research, earlier this year. First Advantage Quest Research provides pre-employment screening services to meet the growing demand for verification information on East Asian job applicants. The addition of these resources allows First Advantage to offer a single source screening solution for global employers.

"The operations facility in Manila further enhances First Advantage's ability to serve multinational corporations hiring employees throughout East Asia," said John Baxter, general manager - East Asia, First Advantage Quest. "We are also looking forward to leveraging our presence by offering services to local employers."
