Brooks Selects Independent ISO Testing Laboratory in Accordance With ISO/PAS 17712

LIVINGSTON, N.J., Nov. 2, 2005 -- E.J. Brooks Company has appointed ACT Laboratories Inc. located in Hillsdale, MI as the independent ISO testing facility required by the ISO/PAS 17712 standard "Freight containers - Mechanical Seals" to test Brooks' high security mechanical barrier seals marketed around the world to the logistics community.

ACT Laboratories is an ISO 9001 - 2000 registered firm that assists global manufacturers through world-class testing in a timely manner and has done so for over two decades. Many of the largest automobile manufacturers located in the Detroit, Michigan area use ACT to provide testing services.

The American Association for Laboratory Accreditation (A2LA) has accredited ACT Laboratories for meeting the requirements of ISO/IEC 17025 for technical competence in the field of "Mechanical Testing."
