LendingTree today launched its first-ever Home Makeover Holiday Sweepstakes for consumers who are refinancing their mortgage or obtaining a home equity loan or line of credit at www.lendingtree.com.

Consumers who request a mortgage refinance or home equity loan or line between November 1, 2005 and December 31, 2005, will be automatically entered into a drawing to win great money-saving prizes.

Those who then close their mortgage refinance or home equity loan or line transaction by March 31, 2006, will be automatically entered to win the grand prize - a home makeover valued at $50,000. In addition to the grand prize, a $5,000 appliance package from Home Depot(R) will be awarded to the first prize winner. Ten more winners will receive gas cards worth $2,000 and 1000 winners will receive a $100 Home Depot(R) gift card.
