(November 1, 2005) * This will be the last race of the 2005 NHRA Drag Racing Series season, and Q Racing Nitro Funny Car driver Tony Pedregon heads to Pomona to compete in the 41st annual Automobile Club of Southern California NHRA Nationals. The 2003 Funny Car champion is focused and ready for the second race of the year at Pomona Raceway. > The California native started the season strong at this track with a No.1 > qualifier and broke Pomona¹s elapsed time record with a 4.681-second pass at > 323.35 mph. > ³We always look forward to going to Pomona,² Tony Pedregon said. ³We always > run very well there as well.
