VOLVO CAR NOT PART OF UNITED NATIONS STUDY

October 29, 2005; The Independent Inquiry Committee into the United Nations Oil-For- Food Program lists Volvo Construction Equipment (CE) among 2,500 companies involved in business with Iraq.

Volvo CE, which manufactures and sells heavy construction equipment vehicles, is not a part of Ford Motor Company or Volvo Car Corporation, which Ford purchased in January 1999.
