JACKSONVILLE, Fla., Oct. 28 -- University of Georgia competed in the "Dodge Mega Livin', Mega Givin' " giant football toss outside Jacksonville's Alltel Stadium Thursday, Oct. 27, in a contest that challenged Gators and Bulldogs fans to raise money for hurricane relief efforts. Georgia fans threw a 15-foot long football more than 26 yards in the Mega Toss challenge, one of three contests created by Dodge to engage University of Florida and University of Georgia fans in a larger than life celebration of everything big -- including one of the biggest college football rivalries and tailgating parties in the country and the all-new 2006 Dodge Ram Mega Cab(TM) truck with the largest pickup cab ever.
For each participant in the Mega Toss contest, Chrysler Group donated $25 to the American Red Cross' hurricane relief efforts, as well as $100 for each yard the giant football traveled.
Florida and Georgia fans competed to see who could gain the most yards by tossing the oversized football. The highest scoring Georgia team threw the football more than seven yards.
The money raised in the Mega Toss challenge is part of a donation Chrysler Group will make in recognition of Florida and Georgia fans who participate in three Dodge Mega Livin', Mega Givin' challenges to be held Oct. 27-Oct. 29. In total, Chrysler Group expects to donate $10,000 to the American Red Cross to benefit hurricane relief efforts.

"It's a wonderful opportunity to expose these 'mega fans' to the all-new Dodge Ram Mega Cab, a truck that itself understands the 'go big or go home' philosophy."
