Ghosts and Goblins Eight Stories High in Times Square
Lexus Gives Everyone in New York an Opportunity to See Themselves in Costume
Live on Times Square Mega-Screen * * MEDIA ALERT * * HALLOWEEN SEGMENT * * WHAT: Lexus will be providing New Yorkers and visitors in costume in Times Square with the opportunity to have their photo taken and projected live, over two stories high, on the Reuters mega- screen on Seventh Avenue. The live event continues the official launch of the Lexus IS vehicle and is part of a unique photo mosaic of the new IS that began building on the giant screen on Sept. 3. The mosaic is made up of thousands of photos submitted online at www.theNewIS.com by anyone wishing to participate. The board is animated to zoom in on individual images throughout the mosaic... enlarging them to 32.5 feet tall. (The online program also allows participants to receive an email with the location of their image within the mosaic and view it on the website and potentially live via the Lexus webcam in Times Square. They can then forward the web link to their friends and family for viewing.)
