USAC Special Release - FLORIDA SPRINT CAR LEGENDS ADAMS, STAUFFER PURCHASE FIRST 2006 DRC SILVER CROWN CHASSIS

INDIANAPOLIS – Devin Racing Chassis President Joe Devin announced Tuesday
that his first new generation pavement Silver Crown chassis has been
purchased by Florida Sprint car legends Kenny Adams and Red Stauffer.

DRC is the third car constructor to announce the selling of the new chassis,
set to compete for the first time in 2006. Riley Technologies and Stealth
Motorsports have each reported two cars from their shops have been sold.

“I’m really excited these guys have purchased the first DRC chassis for
2006,” Devin said. “Kenny and Red have been around for a long time, so they’
ve got a lot of knowledge and experience to do well.”

Adams, of Malabar, Fla., has the most victories of any driver in the history
of the O’Reilly United Sprint Car Series, which hosts pavement and dirt
races in the Southeast. The “Malabar Missile” has recorded 16 victories in
44 events on the 2005 National tour this season, and is looking to capture
his second National title (2000) with six races left on the schedule. Adams
also leads the USCS Carolina Thunder, Mid-South Thunder and Southern Thunder
point standings.

Adams was also the 2003 USCS Asphalt Thunder Tour champion and 2004 Sunbelt
Tour titlist. In 2000, he was named the National Sprint Car Hall of Fame
Sprint Car Driver of the Year in the 360 cubic inch powered machines.

Adams plans to tab stepson Bryn Gohn as the driver of the new Silver Crown
car. Gohn is fourth in the USCS National point standings this season, the
first season he had ever competed in a racecar. Expected to be named Rookie
of the Year, Gohn has scored three Top-5 and 28 Top-10 finishes in 44
starts, including a victory at Fayetteville, N.C.

While Adams is relatively new to the Silver Crown market, Stauffer is a
veteran. The Winter Park, Fla. native made five starts in Silver Crown
competition in the late 1980s and early 1990s, finishing a career-best 15th
in the 1988 “Hoosier Hundred.”

In nearly 25 years of competitive driving, Stauffer has won the East Bay
Raceway Park track championship in the mid-1980s and is a three-time
champion in the now defunct American Winged Outlaw Series. Stauffer also won
the Western division of the USCS in 2000 and has competed in the Tampa Bay
Auto Racing Association on a number of occasions.

“This program seems like a great opportunity and a great stepping stone for
younger drivers,” said Adams. “For me, the Silver Crown Series has always
been very competitive, and I expect that it will continue to be. Many
competitors in the past have had a lot of experience with the old cars, and
with the introduction of the new cars, everyone will be on the same sheet at
the start.”

Devin’s car was tested for the first time last week, when Silver Crown
veteran Aaron Fike toured the track for about 40 laps. Devin has already
ordered parts for a second car, and urges current and prospective car owners
to place their orders soon.

“Kenny and Red seemed very happy with the way the test went, and they really
wanted a car, so they ordered one from us,” Devin said. “We look forward to
helping them as much as possible.”

The Silver Crown Series, which has been in existence since 1971 and runs on
paved and dirt tracks, has competed at venues such as Richmond International
Raceway, Phoenix International Raceway, The Milwaukee Mile and Indianapolis
Raceway Park over the last two seasons. Utilizing new cars, the series will
be able to compete on tracks larger than one-mile in length. Homestead-Miami
Speedway and Kansas Speedway - owned by the International Speedway
Corporation – as well as Kentucky Speedway and Iowa Speedway, have all
committed to hosting the series in 2006.

The 2006 Silver Crown Series schedule is expected to be released soon.
