Adhesives Research Announces Restructuring to Meet Demands of Rapid Growth

GLEN ROCK, Pa., Oct. 25, 2005 -- Karen M. Olson, president and CEO of Adhesives Research, Inc., a leading global developer and manufacturer of custom design solutions, announced the company's reorganization into four fully integrated operating divisions with a new leadership structure. The organization's fast growth drove this change to allow it to maximize resources and better serve its customers.

Each new division - ARcare(R), ARclad(R), ARx(TM), and ARmark(TM) Authentication Technologies - will have dedicated quality, sales, manufacturing, and technical resources, complemented by business processes designed for its customers and markets.

The ARcare(R) division, led by vice president and general manager Geoff Bennett, will focus on the timely development and manufacture of highly customized, often one-of-a-kind, tapes, adhesive coated products, films, and laminates for customers in the pharmaceutical, medical, electronics, and specialty industrial markets. ARclad(R) will build upon proven product lines of high-performance, specialty pressure-sensitive tapes used by industrial customers in the construction, pulp and paper, and transportation markets. William M. Stratton, III will lead ARclad(R) as vice president and general manager. The ARx(TM) division, led by vice president and general manager, Beth Vondrak, will expand Adhesives Research's role as a leading component supplier/partner to the pharmaceutical industry and bring focus and regulatory control to the design, scale-up, and manufacture of "active" adhesive laminates and dissolvable films for the drug delivery sector. ARmark(TM) Authentication Technologies, a new venture, will provide unique technical solutions and customized products for markets challenged by product surety, authentication, and security. Jeff Robertson was named director and general manager of ARmark(TM).
