Reynolds' incadea Dealer Management System Powers Toyota Belgium Operations

CHAVANNES-DE-BOGIS, Switzerland, October 25 -- The Reynolds and Reynolds Company announced today that it is implementing its incadea automotive retailing software at 75 Toyota sites in Belgium. Reynolds' local partner, Helios-IT, will install the solution which will be used by approximately 500 users. Toyota Belgium is part of the Inchcape Group, an international automotive services organization.

Inchcape reviewed 10 dealer management system providers throughout Europe and selected Reynolds' incadea platform because of its local expertise supported by a global foundation, according to Roger Ricour, dealer system manager at Toyota Belgium.

"incadea was simply the best system that could be customized for Toyota," Ricour said. "Regardless of country, the same system is deployed by a local partner, standardizing dealer operations. The presence of Microsoft's business applications was also an important factor as we sought a reliable and easy-to-use accounting function."

Working alongside Helios-IT, Reynolds will customize the incadea software to meet the specific requirements of Toyota in Belgium. incadea is built on Microsoft Windows(R) and Microsoft(R) Navision(R), one of the Microsoft's enterprise resource planning solutions that's now part of Microsoft Dynamics(TM).

Previously, Toyota Belgium used a legacy system limited to single-site functionality that prohibited sharing and analysis of valuable information. Other weaknesses of the previous system were the low performance, limited functionalities and the variety of different solutions used within the Inchcape Group.

"As competition in the European market continues to increase, dealerships must be equipped with a management system that produces real-time reports, integrates multiple sites and delivers the flexibility to grow at a pace that helps - not hinders - the business," said Bob Sawyer, vice president and general manager of Europe/Middle East/Africa for Reynolds and Reynolds.

incadea is used by approximately 13,000 users representing an estimated 640 customer installations in 27 countries.
