Commercial Vehicle Group Announces Seat Development Agreement With Freightliner Trucks
NEW ALBANY, Ohio, Oct. 24, 2005 -- Commercial Vehicle Group, Inc. ("CVG") , an innovative supplier to the heavy truck, construction, agriculture, recreation and marine industries, was recently awarded the standard seat position for Freightliner Class 8 production beginning with the 2007 model year.
The new seat development represents a joint effort between Freightliner and CVG to satisfy ever increasing global expectations for driver comfort, safety, ergonomics and durability. The design and development will include CVG's National Seating HP (High Performance) seating system. This program will represent an overall increase in CVG/ National Seating market share within the Freightliner group of companies.
