Race Results from 2nd Annual Miller's Racing Parts Fall Classic at SSP

Craig Morgan Wins  Street Stock Main Event at SSP in the 2nd Annual Miller’s 
Racing  Parts Fall Classic 

NEWBERRYTOWN, PA  (October  23, 2005) –  The 2nd Annual Miller’s Racing 
Parts Falll Classic at the Susquehanna Speedway Park on  Sunday, October 23 went 
to Craig Morgan in the Street Stock feature, Larry Stine  in the Four Cylinder 
Stock Car Feature, Matt Wampler in the Xtreme Stock Car  feature.   Butch 
Richcreek continued his winning  strean in the Speedway Auto Sales Mini Van 
Feature. 
The Street Stock  event sponsored by Morgan’s Place Restaurant and Norm’s 
Tire & Auto paid  $3000 to Craig Morgan for his winning efforts.   Wes Alleman 
led from the pole for the  first 48 circuits with heavy pressure from Morgan 
and others throughout the  event.  Alleman’s hopes for victory  went up in smoke 
with engine failure on lap 49, turning over the lead to  Morgan.  Finsihing 
second was Kory  Sites, followed by Kirby Sites, Rick Yohn and Ashley Barrett.  
Chad Smith won the B-Main and Scott  Thunberg won the C-Main. 
Leroy Long jumped  out to the earlylead in the Four Cylinder 50-lap feature 
event presented by  Dunn’s General Repair, Slothower Drilling, Skyline Drive 
Automotive, Steve Krall  and House Power Engines.  Long led  the first 32 laps 
until Larry Stine took over the lead.  Stine picked up the $1500 first place  
prize, leading until the end.  Ed  Hollenbach came across second, followed by 
Kevin Thomas, Eric Hollenbach and  Steve Dove.  Jerry Bard won the  B-Main and 
Joe Jakubic won the C-Main.  
In the 50 lap  Xtreme Stock Car feature Jason Zook took the checkered flag 
after leading from  lap 2, but he failed post race technical inspection.  Matt 
Wampler, the runnerup was awarded  the $500 winner’s share.  Third  place 
finisher, Bruce McClane also failed post race inspection.  Sam Rial was awarded 
second place,  followed by Tom Johns, Matt Smith and Keith Bissinger.    
The  15-lap Speedway Auto Sales Mini Van Feature event went to Butch 
Richcreek.  Richcreek jumped out to the early lead  from outside the front row and 
never looked back.  Following Richcreek across the finish  line was Daryl Sipe, 
Sherry Kitner, Richie Richcreek and Cody  Schware. 
A  total of 160 drivers entered today’s Miller’s Racing Parts Fall  Classic. 
The  next event at SSP will be on Saturday, October 29 with “The Candy  Bowl.�??
  This event will feature the wingless  ARDC Midgets, 600cc Micro Sprints 
presented by J & K Salvage in York ($500  to win), Silver Springs Street Stocks 
($300 to win), Lincoln Thundercars ($250  to win), Legends Cars ($200 to win), 
Mini Vans, W.O.W. (Women on Wheels) in both  Xtreme Stocks and School Buses, 
XSC Rookie Rumble.  The ARDC Midgets and 600cc Micro Sprints  will have 
qualifying races as well.  Heats may be run for the Silver Springs Street Stocks, 
Legends Cars and  Lincoln Thundercars if there are more than 24 entries, 
otherwise these divisions  will compete in longer feature events only.  After the 
event, all teams are  encouraged to stay for trick or treating in the pits with 
all kids in  costumes.  All kids in costumes will  be admitted free to the 
races.  There is no entry fee for any division competing at the Candy Bowl.  All 
entrants will register at the  speedway on the day of the event.  Despite a 
conflict with the rescheduled Linda’s Speedway Micro Sprint  National Open on the 
same day, the 600cc Micro Sprints will remain on the event  as originally 
scheduled. 
The gates open in  the pit area at 1:00  p.m. and the  grandstands at 2:00  
p.m.  Warm-ups  begin at 3:30  p.m. with racing  beginning promptly at 4:05  
p.m.  Grandstand  ticket prices are Adults (18 & older) $12.00; Teens (13-17) 
$8.00; Children  (6-12) $4.00; and Children (5 & under) are free.  Pit passes 
for all  persons 14 years of age and older are $20.00.  The raindate for the 
event is Sunday  afternoon, October 30 with the same time schedule.   
The Susquehanna Speedway Park  is located off I-83 to exit 32, then 1.4 miles 
NW on SR382 to York  Road,  then 1.3 miles south.  For more information,
