SETWrite Gives Safeco Insurance Real-Time Rating Capability in California, Connecticut, Kentucky and Texas

WINDSOR, Conn., Oct. 21, 2005 -- Rackley Solutions Inc. announced today that Safeco Insurance is using its SETWrite(TM) product to deliver real- time access to personal auto rates for independent agents in California, Connecticut, Kentucky and Texas. SETWrite allows agents to enter information one time only into a single Web interface and receive real-time rates and related information directly from SafecoNow(TM), the insurance company's online sales and service platform.

SETWrite, a Web application built on the Microsoft(R) .NET framework, offers its agency customer real-time rating and submission connectivity with available real-time carrier partners. There are also more than 600 carriers available that have rates currently residing within Rackley products. The exciting technology in SETWrite enables agents to enter information once into a single interface and receive rates and related information directly from participating carriers in real-time along with manufactured rates from those carriers that have always been included in traditional comparative rating. With its single-entry functionality, data entered to generate a rate is ready for submission as part of the policy writing process.

Safeco's personal auto product can deliver quotes on more than 95 percent of the prospects that walk through independent agents' and brokers' offices. The company is most competitive with preferred drivers, but offers aggressive rates for standard and non-standard drivers as well. The company will launch real-time auto rating and submission through SETWrite in 33 states. Additional states expected to be delivered over the next few months are: AL, AR, AZ, CO, FL, GA, IA, IL, IN, KS, LA, MD, MI, MN, MO, MS, NC, NE, NH, NV, NY, OH, OK, PA, SC, TN, VA, VT, and WI.
