(October 20, 2005) * Cruz Pedregon, driver of the Advance Auto Parts Nitro Funny Car, heads to Las Vegas for the second time this season to compete in the fifth annual ACDelco Las Vegas NHRA Nationals. The 1992 Funny Car champion and his Advance Auto Parts Nitro Funny Car are ready to participate in the 22nd race of the NHRA POWERade Drag Racing Series schedule at The Strip at Las Vegas Motor Speedway. * Cruz Pedregon, piloto del Funny Car del equipo de Advance Auto Parts, se dirige a Las Vegas por segunda vez esta temporada para participar en el quinto campeonato anual de los ACDelco Las Vegas NHRA Nationals. We stumbled a little bit in > Dallas, but we weren¹t nearly as off as it appeared. During that same run in Joliet, Ill., Pedregon grabbed a career top speed of 330.80 mph. Pedregon made it to the semifinals at Pomona, scored a runner up at Houston Raceway Park and reached the semi¹s during the next four races.
