AUBURN HILLS, Mich., Oct. 19 -- As thousands of football fans converge in Jacksonville, Fla. for this year's "mega" rivalry between the Florida Gators and the Georgia Bulldogs, the Dodge brand is pulling the competition off the field and raising money for hurricane relief efforts.

Dodge is encouraging devoted Gators and Bulldogs fans to show their competitive spirit by participating in three entertaining "Dodge Mega Livin', Mega Givin'" contests to be held outside Alltel Stadium on Thursday, Oct. 27 and Saturday, Oct. 29.

As a celebration of everything "mega," including one of the largest tailgating parties in the country, the "Dodge Mega Livin', Mega Givin'" contests and exhibit feature super-sized "mega wonders" like a larger-than- life HEMI(R)-powered tricycle, giant Georgia and Florida football helmets, a mega-size "fan" and the all-new 2006 Dodge Ram Mega Cab(TM) truck with the largest pickup cab ever.

For each contest participant, Chrysler Group will donate $25 to the American Red Cross to benefit hurricane relief efforts and an additional $100 for each yard a giant football travels in the Mega Toss contest -- up to $10,000 total.

The contests are:

* Mega Toss (giant, 15-foot football toss - Florida fans vs. Georgia fans)

    *  Thursday, Oct. 27 at 5:00 p.m.
    * Winning four person team receives tickets to Saturday's game
  *  Mega Mug Shot
    *  Saturday, Oct. 29 at 12:30 p.m.

  * Mega Spirit (team cheer/chant contest)
    *  Saturday, Oct. 29 at 2:00 p.m.

* Winning cheer from each school receives a Dodge Mega Livin' Spirit Package*

*The Dodge Mega Livin' Spirit Package includes Florida Gators or Georgia Bulldogs fan paraphernalia.

The contests are open to all football fans wanting to show their support for either the Florida Gators or Georgia Bulldogs and those just wanting to help raise money for a worthy cause. Interested participants are asked to visit the Dodge Mega Livin', Mega Givin' exhibit -- located outside Alltel Stadium in the Championship of Dreams -- to fill out an entry form and review contest rules.

"The Florida-Georgia game is a natural fit for the Dodge brand's 'mega- size' celebration -- recognizing the biggest fans at one of the biggest rivalries in college football," said Fred Diaz, Director - Dodge Communications, Chrysler Group. "It's a wonderful opportunity to expose these 'mega fans' to the all-new Dodge Ram Mega Cab, a truck that itself understands the 'go big or go home' philosophy."
