Bryan Herta, driver of the XM Satellite Radio Honda-powered Dallara will start eighth for Sunday's running of the California Indy 400. Herta posted a speed of 217.408 miles per hour (33.1175 seconds).

Tomorrow's race from California Speedway goes green at 3:45 p.m. (EDT) with ESPN providing live coverage of the event beginning at 3:30 p.m. (EDT). The final race of the 2005 Indy Racing LeagueŽ IndyCarŽ Series schedule can be heard live by XM Satellite Radio subscribers on Extreme XM, channel 152.

Bryan Herta, #7 XM Satellite Radio Dallara/Honda/Firestone: "The XM Satellite Radio car felt the best it has been all weekend. It just didn't make the number we were hoping for. We put Dario's setup on and the car felt good. I was comfortable, the speed wasn't there, but hopefully we'll finish well."
