Nissan Announces Executive Appointments
GARDENA, Calif.--Oct. 6, 2005--Nissan North America, Inc. today announced a series of executive appointments designed to continue its efforts to strengthen all facets of its North American and global operations.Mark McNabb, Vice President and General Manager Nissan Division, will be promoted to Senior Vice President, Sales and Marketing, General Overseas Markets. In his new position, he will be responsible for sales and marketing activities in all areas of the world where Nissan does business with the exceptions of North America, Japan and Europe. He will report to Toshiyuki Shiga, Chief Operating Officer, Nissan Motor Co., Ltd. in Tokyo.
McNabb joined Nissan in 1986 and in 2003 took over his current position from which he led Nissan's successful entry into the full-size truck market with the launches of the Nissan Armada sport-utility vehicle and the Nissan Titan pickup truck. He also oversaw the launches of the redesigned Nissan Quest minivan and the new Nissan Pathfinder SUV, Frontier mid-size pickup truck and Xterra SUV.
Succeeding McNabb as vice president, Nissan Division will be Brad Bradshaw, currently President, Nissan Canada Inc. (NCI), a position he assumed in 2002. Bradshaw, who will report to Jed Connelly, Senior Vice President, Sales and Marketing, joined Nissan in 1983.
Mark Grimm, now Regional Vice President, Nissan Northeast Region, has been named as the new President of Nissan Canada. He joined Nissan in 1984 and has been the RVP in the Northeast Region since 1998. As NCI president, Grimm will report to Carlos Ghosn, President and CEO, Nissan Motor Co., Ltd. in Tokyo.
Succeeding Grimm in the Nissan Northeast Region will be Al Castignetti, currently Regional Vice President, Infiniti Central Region. Castignetti joined Nissan in 2003 and will report to Bradshaw.
Wayne Adair will succeed Castignetti as RVP of Infiniti Central. Adair, currently Director, Research and Brand Management, joined Nissan in 1984. In his new role, Adair will report to Mark Igo, Vice President and General Manager, Infiniti Division of NNA.
