Exhibit Assembly Unions Sign 5 Year Deal With North American International Auto Show

DETROIT, Oct. 6, 2005 -- Today the North American International Auto Show (NAIAS) and the unions that provide labor for the show: Michigan Regional Council of Carpenters and Millwrights, Teamsters Local 299, Ironworkers Local Union No.25, Detroit Stage Employees Union, IATSE Local 38 and IBEW Local 58 made a joint announcement that a historic five-year Display Assembly Agreement to reduce and contain costs at the NAIAS has been completed.

The Agreement provides for work rule reforms created to provide more flexibility for exhibitors. For example, crew size will be determined by the contractor based upon safety and work requirements, there will be flexibility in scheduling shifts and starting times to reduce overtime costs and apprentices will be utilized where applicable to each activity. The Agreement also provides for the Labor Management Cooperation Committee, comprised of the NAIAS contractor representatives and union representatives.

"This is a living agreement that is intended to evolve over time in response to the needs of the NAIAS exhibitors and sponsors," said Richard Genthe, senior co-chairman for the NAIAS 2006. "The LMCC will review issues as necessary and will allow for the agreement to continually adapt to challenges that the NAIAS contractors and its union partners encounter."

In addition, the Display Assembly Agreement will allow exhibitors to have additional work performed at straight-time by beginning shifts at 7 a.m. and will allow for three shifts with shift differentials rather than overtime.

"We expect that these important work rule changes and added shift flexibility will work in unison to control and reduce costs at the NAIAS," said Robert Thibodeau, co-chairman for the NAIAS 2006. "The NAIAS believes these landmark provisions will enable the contractors and unions to respond to our exhibitors' and sponsors' changing needs more than ever before."

"The Michigan Regional Council of Carpenters and Millwrights (MRCC) is pleased to partner with the North American International Auto Show. We see this agreement as a starting point, and look forward to partnering with the NAIAS to draw more shows, exhibits, and conventions to Detroit," said Walter R. Mabry, Executive secretary and treasurer of the Michigan Regional Council of Carpenters and Millwrights. "Our work together will create more jobs for Detroiters, and once again position Detroit as an important destination for key international events such as the North American International Auto Show."

"This is a historic event. Five unions working together and reaching a unanimous agreement to keep the North American International Auto Show in Detroit -- the motor capitol of the world," said Kevin Moore, President of Teamsters Local 299. "We are committed to this agreement and to keep our show the finest in the world."

Bill Cook, NAIAS chairman emeritus and representative of the NAIAS said, "I'd like to congratulate everybody involved on their collaboration in creating such an important agreement that will benefit NAIAS exhibitors and sponsors in the years to come."
