USAC ANNOUNCES USAC FORD FOCUS MID-ATLANTIC REGION WILL BEGIN COMPETITION IN 2006

Indianapolis, IN. . . . .Officials of the USAC Ford Focus Midget Series 
have authorized the formation of the newest Ford Focus Series Region, The 
USAC Ford Focus Mid-Atlantic Region, will begin United States Auto Club 
sanctioned competition in the 2006 racing season.  The Mid-Atlantic Region 
will organize Ford Focus events in Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Maryland and 
Delaware, joining series already in place in California, the Midwest, North 
Carolina/Virginia, Oklahoma and the Northeast.

"The USAC Ford Focus Midget Series remains the fastest growing open wheel 
series in the country," said Eric Bunn, USAC's National Coordinator, Ford 
Focus Series.  "The Ford Focus Mid-Atlantic Region is the latest indicator 
that our concept of affordable and competitive midget car racing is 
correct, and will be a welcome addition to the Ford Focus family," Bunn 
continued.

The USAC Ford Focus Series competes with a sealed spec Ford Zetec 2.0 
supplied by SCREAM in San Miguel, CA.  The exclusive engine supplier for 
the Ford Focus Series, SCREAM adds mechanical fuel injection, a starter, 
clutch and appropriate pumps to the Ford Zetec engine.  Internally, the 
engine races as it is produced on Ford's production lines.

Rollie Helmling, USAC President, said, "What better area for our next 
growth than this region.  There is a strong tradition of open wheel racing 
in this area and bring the USAC Ford Focus Midget Series here is a

driver and owners."

Scheduling for the 2006 racing season is currently underway for the USAC 
Ford Focus Mid-Atlantic Series.
