Charity Chopper Goes up for Bid on eBay Motors to Raise Funds for Blood Cancer Victims - PPG, Dave Perewitz and Ray Evernham Fire up Their Fund-Raising Engines to Benefit The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society

STRONGSVILLE, Ohio--Sept. 30, 2005--The "Charity Chopper," the one-of-a-kind, custom motorcycle designed and built to help raise much-needed funds for fighting blood-related cancers, is now up for auction on eBay Motors.

Built by legendary bike builder Dave Perewitz in collaboration with fund-raiser co-sponsors PPG Industries automotive refinish and Ray Evernham of NASCAR's Evernham Motorsports, the Charity Chopper is one of the more unique and worthwhile motorsports items ever to be auctioned on eBay Motors, matching the chopper's ultimate style, power and performance with a great cause in The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society. The Perewitz creation is a custom Pro-street V-twin chopper featuring an eye-catching Liquid Crystal O-So-Orange paint finish from Vibrance Collection custom finishes by PPG with classic Perewitz flames.

Bidding for the Charity Chopper runs through Oct. 9, ending at 9 p.m. PST/12 a.m. EST. To view the chopper or place a bid, visit www.ebay.com/charitychopper. The winning bidder will have the option of taking possession of the Charity Chopper on NASCAR Nextel Cup Series race day Nov. 6, 2005, at a special presentation by fund-raiser sponsors at Texas Motor Speedway in Fort Worth, Texas.

Adding to its uniqueness and collectible value is the fact that many NASCAR celebrities have signed the custom chopper, including Ray Evernham, Jeremy Mayfield, Dale Earnhardt Jr., Rusty Wallace, Tony Stewart and Kasey Kahne. Other chopper features include a 121 cubic-inch TP Engineering engine, a six-speed Baker RSD transmission, Weld Racing wheels, Danny Gray custom seat and an Avon Venom 300 series rear tire.

All proceeds from the auction will benefit The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society. In light of the devastation of Hurricane Katrina, which damaged treatment centers and displaced patients from their regular treatment providers, The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society will direct the proceeds of the auction to address the urgent needs of blood cancer patients in the Gulf Coast region.

The Charity Chopper has appeared with the PPG Show Truck at custom car and bike shows around the country and select NASCAR events all spring and summer. In addition, Evernham, Perewitz and PPG sponsored monthly charity auctions on eBay offering high-profile collectible items to benefit the yearlong fund-raising effort. With special events included, the total raised by late September exceeds $75,000.
