ArvinMeritor Light Vehicle Systems Vice President of Quality, Engineering and Technology Recognized as a Leading Woman in North American Auto Industry
DETROIT, Sept. 29 -- Deborah deBoer Henderson, vice president of Quality, Engineering and Technology within ArvinMeritor, Inc.'s Light Vehicle Systems (LVS) business group, was honored by Automotive News at a gala held Wednesday, Sept. 28 in recognition of the 100 Leading Women in the North American Auto Industry.
Henderson's achievements were recognized by a committee of industry experts following an extensive nomination and judging process. The accolade was also featured in a special edition of Automotive News on Sept. 26, in a tribute to the accomplishments and contributions of women in the automotive industry.

Henderson leads the global quality, engineering and technology efforts for LVS from offices in Europe and North America, covering product development and launch optimization throughout the world. In addition to her current role, held since 2003, she was appointed to lead LVS Engineering and Technology in May 2005. Prior to this role, she served as site manager of the company's LVS manufacturing facility in Detroit for two years.
Henderson, who lives in Canton, Mich., holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in biology from Rutgers University in Camden, NJ.
