Toyota Grand Prix of Long Beach Selects Ticketmaster for 2006 and Beyond
LONG BEACH, Calif., Sept. 28 -- Buying tickets for next April's 32nd Annual Toyota Grand Prix of Long Beach just got easier.
The Grand Prix Association of Long Beach announced today that it has signed an agreement with Ticketmaster, whereby Ticketmaster will serve as the authorized ticketing company for the sale and distribution of Grand Prix event tickets. The Grand Prix Association's selection of Ticketmaster as its new full-service ticketing provider will offer greater convenience for customers, who can now buy tickets in ANY desired seating area online, in person and by phone.

Beginning Monday, Oct. 3, tickets for the Toyota Grand Prix of Long Beach can be purchased by calling the toll-free ticket hotline at (888) 82-SPEED. The ticket hotline will also offer ticket brochure packages, which include a circuit map with grandstand and parking locations as well as ticket prices and a ticket order form. Tickets can also be purchased online at www.longbeachgp.com or ticketmaster.com or at Ticketmaster retail Ticket Center locations throughout Southern California, including all Tower Records, Robinsons-May, Ritmo Latino, Wherehouse Music, and select FYE stores.
Ticket prices for the three-day event range from $35 for a Friday/Saturday general admission ticket to $115 for a three-day ticket that includes Saturday and Sunday reserved seating in upper levels of the grandstands. Pre-paid parking packages are available and can be purchased when ordering tickets through the Grand Prix ticket office. Tickets and pre-paid parking are subject to availability plus applicable service charges. ADA Accessible seating, Bosch Champ Car Garage passes, super photo tickets and several hospitality club packages are also available.
For the seventh consecutive year, the 1.97-mile, 11-turn race circuit configuration on the downtown streets of Long Beach encompassing the Aquarium of the Pacific, Pike at Rainbow Harbor and Long Beach Convention and Entertainment Center is unchanged. Sixteen grandstands line the circuit, which includes reserved seats, a limited number of general admission seats and seating for various club ticket packages.
