Green Car Journal Brings Advanced Vehicles to Environmental Journalists

AUSTIN, Texas, Sept. 28 -- At the annual conference of the Society of Environmental Journalists opening today in Austin, Texas, the mission is to network and learn how to improve the quality and accuracy of environmental reporting. Complementing this is the mission of Green Car Journal, which seeks to encourage understanding of the role that environmentally positive vehicles play in improving the environment and the quality of our lives.

The result: MEDIADRIVE 05, a ride-and-drive of high efficiency, low emission, and advanced technology vehicles being held in conjunction with the Society of Environmental Journalists 15th Annual Conference. Produced by Green Car Journal, MEDIADRIVE 05 provides SEJ conference attendees -- among them the nation's top environmental journalists -- the unique opportunity to drive a wide array of vehicles ranging from near-zero emission gasoline, hybrid electric, and advanced diesel to those running on natural gas, biodiesel, and hydrogen.
