Alcoa Products Used on Anniversary Edition of Fleetwood's Bounder RV

PITTSBURGH--Sept. 27, 2005--Alcoa announced today that products from three of its businesses, AFL Automotive, Alcoa Wheel Products, and Alcoa Fastening Systems Commercial, are included on Fleetwood RV's new 2006 Bounder gas motor home. The launch of the Bounder earlier this month marks the 20th anniversary of one of America's most popular motor home brands.

AFL Automotive through its Specialty Products Group based in San Antonio, Texas, provides the electrical distribution systems for the anniversary edition RV and has been a major supplier of complete electrical systems for Fleetwood motor homes since 2000.

In addition, Alcoa Wheel Products' aluminum forged wheels with its patented Dura-Bright(R) finish comes as standard equipment with the Ford chassis. Alcoa aluminum wheels with the Dura-Bright(R) finish resist corrosion and eliminate the need for polishing meeting Fleetwood standards emphasizing function and value. Unlike conventional surface coatings, Alcoa Dura-Bright(R) protection is a patented treatment that penetrates the wheel. Brake dust, grime and oil residue wash off quickly and easily.

Alcoa Fastening Systems Commercial business based in Waco, Texas, has been a supplier of various Huck brand fasteners to Fleetwood for more than a decade. Its Huck Magna-Lok(R) and Huck Magna-Tite(R) Blind aluminum rivets are used extensively on the Bounder to attach the exterior molding and ladders to the motor home. These two fasteners offer superior strength as well as weather resistant seal. Also used on the Bounder are two Huck brand Lockbolts - the C50L(R) and CSB30(R), a modification of the C6L(R) fastener. The advantage of using these two Huck Lockbolts is that they are vibration resistant and will never loosen.
