It is a pleasure to witness the dedication and aspirations these young men and woman assert towards racing; a direct reflection of the Snap-on Series. GS610 embraced the opportunity to participate in the series and looks forward to a wonderful year with these inspiring individuals."
"As a kickoff to their relationship with the series, MSEP will sponsor the GS610 Champion's Dash to be held on Sunday, October 16 in Austin, TX at the National Finals. The GS610 Champion's Dash will be similar in format to the Dash for Cash events held this season in Norman, New Castle, and Jacksonville. However, instead of the invitation to race being based on qualifying times, the West and East Division Champions from ICC, ICA, and Easykart will duke it out in a six lap sprint for the $1,000 cash prize. The drivers will draw for starting positions and square off in six-equally prepared Easykarts in the IROC-style event," stated Snap-on Stars of Karting series Marketing Director Jeff Swoboda.
"I think it's great to have a company like GS610 that's involved with the so many forms of motor sports, including the Indy Racing League, take notice of karting and want to become involved," concluded Swoboda.
