SBORO LEADS NORTHEAST FOCUS MIDGETS TO SEASON FINALE

INDIANAPOLIS – Michael Sboro of Watertown, N.Y. leads several USAC Northeast
Ford Focus Midget Car Series competitors into this weekend’s season finale –
the D. Anthony Venditti Memorial – at Seekonk Speedway in Seekonk, Mass.

Sboro, the winner of three series events this season, but none have come in
the three races at Seekonk. However, he’s posted wins at Oswego Speedway in
Oswego, N.Y. and Adirondack International Speedway in Lowville, N.Y., and
owns a 40-point advantage over Jeff Abold of Pennelville, N.Y., the only
other competitor still in the title hunt. One of Abold’s two victories this
season came at Seekonk.

Preliminaries are scheduled to take place Saturday, while a 25-lap feature
is scheduled for Sunday.
