Sprint Extends Customer Choice and Flexibility With TeleNav GPS Navigator Offering

SANTA CLARA, Calif.--Sept. 26, 2005--Sprint :

  TeleNav Navigator is the First GPS Java Enabled Handset Offering on
                     Both CDMA and iDEN Networks;

   Provides Turn-by-Turn Audible Directions on Handsets and Devices

Sprint today announced the availability of TeleNav GPS Navigator on the Nationwide Sprint PCS Network, making it the first GPS Java enabled handset offering available on both the Nextel National and Sprint PCS networks. TeleNav GPS Navigator application extends affordable and accessible Java enabled GPS services to Sprint customers, offering the ability to instantaneously receive destination location details and directions at the touch of a button or verbal command prompt.

TeleNav GPS Navigator is similar to in-car GPS navigation systems sold with luxury vehicles and provides audible turn-by-turn directions, displays maps and provides graphical driving cues to help drivers get to their desired locations easily, right over their mobile phone. Unlike in-vehicle systems, this application is portable, and updates to road information are automatic, saving time and expense. The TeleNav Java enabled GPS Navigator service is available on Sprint's Sanyo 5600, 7400 and LG 535 mobile handsets as well as all GPS and Java-enabled handsets currently in the Nextel portfolio, including the new BlackBerry 7520 from Nextel.

"The availability of TeleNav on both the Sprint and Nextel networks shows that we continue to stand by our mission of providing choice and flexibility to all of our customers," said Danny Bowman, vice president, product development and management, for Sprint. "Sprint's suite of Java enabled location solutions and data offerings for both the consumer and business marketplace will continue to be a focus and priority for the company moving forward."

"We are pleased to be working closely with Sprint to ensure TeleNav GPS Navigator is accessible to all their subscribers," said Dr. HP Jin, president and CEO of TeleNav. "With the addition of TeleNav GPS Navigator for CDMA, we now bring the convenience and safety of GPS navigation to Sprint's CDMA mobile handset subscribers, further enhancing the value subscribers derive from their Sprint service."

To use TeleNav GPS navigator, a customer specifies a destination via an interactive voice response (IVR) system, or by keying in the address on the handset or device. Once the destination is specified, a route is calculated and TeleNav GPS Navigator provides real-time, audible and graphical turn-by-turn directions over the mobile device. For trip planning, users can also enter multiple destination addresses using the TeleNav website at www.telenav.com. The TeleNav GPS Navigator service also includes a Business Finder that can help users find nearby banks, restaurants, hotels or other businesses, and get driving directions with the touch of a button.

The TeleNav GPS Navigator service is available for a fraction of the price of in-car GPS navigation systems, starting at just $9.99 per month.
