NEWMAN SNAGS BUSCH AND BUD POLES



Moorpark,  Calif. -  (September 24, 2005) Just one week  after his first win 
of the season, Ryan Newman rocketed to both the NASCAR Busch  Series and 
Nextel Cup poles at the “Monster Mile�?? of Dover International  Speedway in Dover, 
Del., on Friday. 
Newman, who currently sits third in Cup points, beat out Kasey Kahne for  the 
Bud Pole with a 158.103 mph/22.770 second qualifying  run. 
In the Busch Series, Newman went out and posted a lap of 156.420  mph/23.015 
seconds in hopes of capturing his fourth Busch Series win of the  season. 
Newman has won the last three Busch Series races he has entered  in. 
The green flag for the Busch Series Dover 200 drops today at 1 p.m. (ET)  
with action on TNT. 
Sunday’s Nextel Cup MBNA RacePoints 400 ceremonies start at 12:30 p.m. on  
TNT, as well.
