Thor Receives Record Towable RV Orders

JACKSON CENTER, Ohio, Sept. 23 -- Thor Industries, Inc. announced today that it has received 13,000 towable recreation vehicle orders so far this month, totaling over $210 million. Total towable orders received in September 2004 were $83 million.

Many of these orders are from our dealers who are selling to Hurricane Katrina evacuees. Importantly, we are also ensuring that we are meeting the demand from the majority of our dealers who are not affected by the hurricane.

Thor is the largest manufacturer of recreation vehicles and the largest builder of mid-size buses.
