The 2006 MMCW now covers both dimensional measurement issues and strategies, as well as measurement in manufacturing situations.
"Those who are responsible for quality in manufacturing tell us that they want practical applications for implementing measurement technology in their factories. MMCW will address their needs, as well as continue to bring all quality professionals the latest information on measurement technology," says Thomas Williams, publisher of Quality Magazine. The workshop is hosted by Quality Magazine in conjunction with The Metrology Group (TMG) headed by Ed Pritchard.
The conference sessions and workshops will cover a variety of new topics such as, temperature control on measurements, CMMs, vision systems, cost savings through scrap reduction, improvements in laser scanning, in-line measurement, thread gaging, and other measurement issues and strategies. An up-close plant tour and exclusive networking dinner reception has been added to the conference schedule.
Experienced industry experts will conduct the all-day and half-day workshops being offered in addition to the conference. A Call for Papers is now in effect until December 16, 2005. Please visit http://www.qualitymag.com/mmcw for more information.
Last year the conference drew more than 25 exhibitors presenting the latest equipment, software and services available. This year promises to be a success with a newly added plant facilities tour and an entertaining networking dinner reception at the world renowned Wildhorse Saloon.
