TRIO TARGETS "4-CROWN" AS PIVOTAL RACE IN BATTLE FOR USAC'S 2005 NATIONAL SPRINT CAR TITLE

SEPTEMBER 19, 2005

This weekend's Silver Anniversary "4-Crown Nationals" at Tony
Stewart's Eldora Speedway in Rossburg, Ohio showcases one of the most
hotly-contested championships in recent USAC history.

A trio of drivers have tossed the USAC Valvoline National
Sprint Car point lead back and forth for the past several weeks and remain
separated by only 30 points with 74 available this weekend!

Levi Jones of Olney, Ill., seeking his first USAC crown, leads
defending series champion Jay Drake of Val Verde, Calif. by 23 points,
while USAC Triple Crown Champion Dave Darland trails Drake by just seven.
Although Drake and Darland finished first and third at Eldora in April,
none of the three have fared better than fifth in any of the three
subsequent USAC races there this year.

Everyone might just find themselves chasing Rob Chaney of
Wooster, Ohio Saturday. Chaney not only won the May feature, but he came
back and claimed the lucrative "Mopar Thunder" paycheck in August. Kevin
Huntley of Bloomington, Ind. won the other USAC race at Eldora this year,
in June.

Dickie Gaines of Mitchell, Ind. is the reigning champion of
the "4-Crown Nationals" Sprint Car race.

Preiminaries are slated at Eldora Friday night, with
semi-features and all four feature events set for Saturday.
