MARTZ CONTINUES CHARGE TOWARD TITLE THIS WEEKEND AT LAKEVILLE

INDIANAPOLIS – Tate Martz of Rushville, Ind. continues his quest for a
repeat title this weekend as the Midwest Ford Focus Midget Car Series heads
to Lakeville Speedway in Ohio for the penultimate event of the 2005 season.

Martz, who owns a 156-point advantage over Stephanie Mockler, has 15 career
victories and was 10th overall in last weekend’s Ford Focus National
Championship at Lima, Ohio and Anderson, Ind. The event is a two-day event,
with preliminaries Friday and racing on Saturday.

Mockler won the only 2005 Lakeville event completed last month in a
rain-shortened feature. Two other points-paying events on the 3/8-mile dirt
track were washed out.
