HARRIS, CALIFORNIA PAVEMENT FOCUS MIDGETS CONTINUE TITLE ASSAULT AT ORANGE SHOW

INDIANAPOLIS – Alex Harris of Simi Valley, Calif. leads a tight five-way
battle for supremacy into Saturday’s California Ford Focus Pavement Midget
Car Series race at Orange Show Speedway in San Bernardino, Calif.

Harris holds a slim three-point advantage over Audra Sasselli of Fresno,
Calif. as the season winds down. Harris, who finished ninth in the National
Ford Focus points standings last weekend at Lima, Ohio and Anderson, Ind.,
has four pavement victories heading into Saturday’s event, the first at
Orange Show for Focus cars since 2002.

Harris and Sasselli aren’t the only drivers seeking to lead the points after
Saturday. California Dirt leader Chase Barber, who also took part in the
National two-race swing, is only 17 points behind Harris. Robbie Whitchurch
and Benny Moon are 21 and 29 points behind Harris respectively.
