FINAL TRANS-AM RACE from MONTREAL on SPEED TV  SUNDAY SEPT 18th at 1PM


After an exciting qualifying round at Montreal had Randy Ruhlman and Klaus
Graf going back and forth for the pole, the battle for the points lead heats
up in the SPEED TV coverage of this final race for the Driver¹s
Championship.  Ruhlman in the #49 Preformed Line Products Chevrolet Corvette
held the Driver¹s Championship points lead throughout the year, capturing
wins at Long Beach and Cleveland along the way.  Ruhlman comes into Montreal
with a slight points disadvantage to the factory Jaguar and Porsche SuperCup
driver Klaus Graf, who needed to win the last two races to take over the
points lead.  The final race from Montreal will determine the 2005 Trans-Am
Driver¹s Champion.

The 2005 Trans-Am season finale from the Molson Indy Montreal at the Circuit
Gilles-Villeneuve will be a one hour, taped broadcast on SPEED TV this
Sunday, September 18th  at 1PM EDT (check local listing for different time
zones).
