New Orleans Chrysler and Jeep Dealers, Employees and Families Get Helping Hands From Chrysler Jeep Superstores of Southeast Michigan
Metro Detroit Dealer Group Donates $50,000 Aid to New Orleans Dealers, Employees and Families Devastated By Hurricane Katrina
DETROIT, Sept. 16 -- Chrysler and Jeep dealerships, their employees and families in New Orleans are getting helping hands from the Chrysler Jeep Superstores of Southeastern Michigan in the form of direct and immediate financial assistance of $50,000.
The announcement was made by Jim Schebil, president of the Chrysler Jeep Superstores Advertising Association of Southeast Michigan. Schebil also owns Fox Hills Chrysler Jeep in Plymouth, Mich.
The donation is being made through the Hurricane Katrina relief fund of the National Automobile Dealers Association. One hundred percent of the donation will be used for immediate aid of the Chrysler and Jeep stores in New Orleans, most of which have been destroyed by the Hurricane.
The Chrysler Jeep Superstores Advertising Association is made up of the 40 independently owned Chrysler Jeep Superstores in Southeastern Michigan from Monroe to Fowlerville and from Clinton to Port Huron.
