Brian Shirley Joins Forces with Sunoco Race Fuels

CHATHAM, IL (September 15, 2005) Brian Shirley Motorsports is proud to
announce a new partnership with premium racing fuel manufacturer, Sunoco
Race Fuels, for the remainder of the 2005 racing season and upcoming 2006
tour.

Shirley, 24, is a relative newcomer to the dirt late model scene and
embarked on his fendered career only four years ago after an injury ended a
very successful, championship AMA motorcycle career. In that short time
frame, the native Illinoisan has nabbed a track championship and U.M.P.
National Late Model Rookie of the Year honors in the same season, dual
Northern Allstars¹ Late Model Series Championship and Rookie of the Year
titles in 2004 and most recently, a 4th place showing and series finale win
on the grueling U.M.P. Summernationals tour. Shirley¹s #3s JAYCO
Construction/Petroff Towing/CJ Rayburn Race Cars team quickly appeared on
the national radar after a very competitive 2005 season that includes 7
wins, 3 clean sweeps and amazing consistency with top-10 finishes in over
75% of all entered events.

³We are very proud to have Sunoco Race Fuels on board with our team for the
remainder of 2005 and for the 2006 season,² stated Shirley. ³They have been
a strong presence in motorsports for years and I¹ve heard nothing but rave
reviews about their new HCR Plus line and I am proud to represent them and
be a part of the awesome group of racers they have partnered with. That new
HCR Plus fuel has worked great for Billy (Moyer) and Shannon (Babb) and
hopefully we can return to victory lane again soon with them. This has been
a breakout year for us and with some of the plans we are already working on
for 2006, I think that our team with the sponsors, crew and resources we
have will be a power player.²

The #3s team will compete with the World of Outlaws¹ Late Model Series this
weekend in a trio of events at Tri-City Speedway on Friday, I-55 Raceway¹s
³Pepsi Nationals² on Saturday and Sunday¹s ³Illinois Fall Nationals² finale
at the Illinois State Fairgrounds. Shirley is tentatively preparing for
double-duty in WoO late models and U.M.P. modified division at the
Springfield Mile on Sunday. The latest team news, results and schedules can
