Voorhees Named VP of Finance for Goodyear's North American Tire
AKRON, Ohio, Sept. 14 The Auto Channel reported that The Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company has named Marc O. Voorhees as vice president of finance for North America.
Voorhees comes to Goodyear from Eastman Kodak Company, where he was most recently operations manager, Digital & Film Imaging Systems European Region based in Geneva, Switzerland.
Voorhees' appointment is effective Oct. 1.
"We are extremely pleased to have a seasoned business leader of Marc's caliber join our team in North American Tire," said Goodyear Chief Financial Officer Richard J. Kramer. "His experience and achievements as a finance leader, as well as a general manager, will allow him to contribute immediately as we continue our business momentum."
In his 28 years with Kodak, Voorhees held various key positions and international assignments that included finance manager, new product development; controller, Imaging Group; director finance and vice president European Region; and vice president finance, Consumer Imaging.
Voorhees, 50, holds a bachelor of science degree in industrial engineering from Lehigh University and a master of business administration degree in accounting and finance from the University of Rochester. He is a Certified Management Accountant.
