Energy & Engine Technology Corporation Announces Acceptance into Canada's Fleet Smart Program

PLANO, Texas--Sept. 14, 2005--Energy & Engine Technology Corporation (OTCBB:EENT), a leading developer of auxiliary power generators for the long haul trucking industry, today announced that it has been formally accepted into Natural Resource Canada's Fleet Smart Rebate Program, of which it was initially one of two U.S. applicants when it applied earlier this year. According to Natural Resource Canada (http://oee.nrcan.gc.ca/transportation/business/fleetsmart/ consumer-notice.cfm?attr=16 (Due to the length of this URL, it may be necessary to copy and paste this hyperlink into your Internet browser's URL address field.)), "the use of an auxiliary power unit could save from 3.2 (.8 gallons) to 3.6 litres (.9 gallons)/hour for approximately 1840 hours per year. At this rate of idling, approximately 5888 (1472 gallons) to 6624 litres (1656 gallons) of diesel fuel would be displaced, representing a GHG (greenhouse gas) reduction of 16.5 to 18.5 tonnes (tons) per year. For this level of performance, the Government of Canada will rebate 20 percent of the purchase price, not exceeding the manufacturer's suggested retail price (uninstalled and before taxes) of an auxiliary power unit, up to a maximum of $1,400." More information on the Program can be found at http://oee.nrcan.gc.ca/transportation/business/fleetsmart/ consumer-notice.cfm?attr=16. EENT's CEO, Will McAndrew, stated: "I am thrilled with our ability to work with the Canadian government to help our environment and reduce fuel usage. We are optimistic that acceptance into the Program will be a good platform for commencing our Canadian marketing and sales effort."
