Modine Highlights New Technologies and Core Products at 2005 Frankfurt International Motor Show (IAA)

RACINE, Wis.--Sept. 13, 2005--Modine Manufacturing Company , a worldwide leader in applied thermal management, will showcase a wide range of new technologies, including engine cooling, HVAC systems and components, and electronics cooling for the automotive market at the world's largest auto show, the 61st International Motor Show (IAA) which opens this week in Frankfurt, Germany, and continues until September 25.

Modine's presence includes a two-story booth with several kiosks highlighting its heat transfer capabilities. "For nearly 90 years Modine has focused on research and technology, improving products and solving customers' needs in heat transfer. We are expanding our offerings and IAA is a perfect opportunity to show first-hand what our total capabilities are," said Tom Burke, Executive Vice President in charge of the global automotive strategy for Modine. "I'm also very excited that for the first time we are including heat pipes from our electronics cooling business in our portfolio of products for the automotive industry."

At IAA, Modine will also outline for customers and potential customers its leading designs of exhaust gas recirculation (EGR) coolers, fuel cell heat transfer technology, and HVAC capabilities from Modine's Asian acquisition in 2004. To meet future needs for more environmentally friendly cooling systems, Modine will display its R744 (CO2) technology.

"We will demonstrate how we have solved customers' needs by working with them, having facilities near theirs, and manufacturing products 'just in time', 'just in sequence.'"

The Modine booth will be located in Hall 8, booth A-15 at the IAA from now through September 25.
