Twin Disc, Inc., Awarded $6.9 Million Contract
RACINE, Wis.--Sept. 7, 2005--Twin Disc, Inc. , today announced the Company has been awarded a $6.9 million contract to supply transmissions for the U.S. Army's M88A2 Hercules combat recovery vehicle. The M88A2 is a full-tracked armored vehicle used to perform battlefield rescue and recovery of heavy tanks and other combat vehicles.The order is for XT1410 transmissions and is expected to be completed by June 30, 2007. Work will be performed at the Company's Racine, Wisconsin facilities. This contract is not part of a previously announced contract to supply the U.S. Army for the same transmission.
