$1.9 Million in New Contracts for WPCS Includes Ambulatory Wireless System

EXTON, Pa., Sept. 7 -- WPCS International Incorporated (WPCS) , a leader in wireless infrastructure services and specialty communication systems has announced that it has recently been awarded a variety of new projects totaling $1.9 million for wireless infrastructure services and specialty communication systems. Included in the contracts awarded to WPCS are projects to be completed for Yosemite Community College, Monmouth County Correctional Center, California Department of Forestry, Mount Laurel Fire Department and the Lakewood, Manalapan, Millburn and Gloucester, New Jersey Police Departments.

Also included is a contract for WPCS/Quality Communications to deploy a wireless communication system for Amcare Ambulance. This project will provide an Automatic Vehicle Locator (AVL) system for a group of ambulances that will be designed to track the vehicles, in order to improve medical dispatch services for patients. In addition, laptop computers will be installed within the ambulances so that emergency medical technicians can transmit patient care reports directly to the hospital while in transit. By transmitting patient care reports in advance, the emergency room will be better prepared to provide the appropriate medical team and medical services for the patient upon arrival.
