Sterling Marlin, No. 40 Coors Light Dodge

Rock and Roll 400- Richmond International Raceway Advance

No. 40 TEAM FACTS:

* Chassis: The Coors Light team will race chassis #303 this
weekend for the second race at Richmond. This car last ran at Bristol
Motor Speedway two weeks ago. Marlin was able to salvage a 29th-place
finish after a flat tire sent the No. 40 into the wall. In three starts
this season this car's average finish is 24th.

* Roaring Richmond: Marlin has competed in 39 races at Richmond
International Raceway. He has accumulated three top-five and eight
top-10 finishes.

* Earlier this Season: After the 11th race earlier this season at
Richmond International Raceway, Marlin and the Coors Light team's
23rd-place finish put them back within the 400 point mark of leader
Jimmie Johnson. The team was 19th but was within the 400 points of
Johnson who struggled at Richmond.

* NASCAR NEXTEL Cup points standings: Marlin gained two spots to
move into the 27th spot in the NASCAR NEXTEL Cup points standings. The
No. 40 Dodge, however, is 24th in owner points.

STERLING MARLIN QUOTES:

"The Coors Light team worked really hard last weekend at California. We
got the car dialed in for qualifying and got our second highest starting
spot in 11 starts at California Speedway. The team is really working to
get a win this season and I think we have a chance at some of these
upcoming tracks."

STEVE BOYER, CREW CHIEF QUOTES:

"I think the team has momentum going into this weekend's race at
Richmond. We have not had the finishes we thought we would have at the
last couple of races, but the team has worked harder each week. The
past five races we have had a competitive car but some things have gone
wrong and so we have not had the highest finishes. We hope to have
another strong weekend this weekend and finish where we should."
