National Car Rental Launches ONE-TWO-FREE05

Third consecutive year for promotion that rewards Emerald Club Members

TULSA, Okla., Sept. 6 -- National Car Rental has announced the launch of "ONE-TWO-FREE '05," a promotion that rewards National's Emerald Club members with one free rental day after the customer rents twice for two or more consecutive days between August 21 and December 20, 2005. There is no limit to the number of free days a customer can earn, and rental days are in addition to other rewards, such as frequent flyer miles or rental credits for free days.

"It's all about rewarding loyalty," said Jerry Dow, chief marketing officer for National Car Rental. "Our Emerald Club members spend more time on the road than any other customer group... This annual promotion is just one way we can reward their loyalty."

Free rental day certificates can be used for rentals between January 1 and June 25, 2006 at participating locations in the United States, and are valid for mid-size through full-size vehicles.

To earn free rental day certificates, customers must register for the promotion online at http://www.emeraldclub.com/12free. One Free Day certificate will be awarded for every two qualifying rentals. Qualifying rentals include the rental of a midsize or larger vehicle for a period of two or more consecutive days during the promotion. Customers will receive their earned free rental day certificates automatically by e-mail four to six weeks after the second qualifying rental. The original certificate must be presented at the time of rental. Certificates are non-transferable and will not be replaced if lost or stolen. Each free rental day is prorated against the base rate of the entire rental period, and does not apply toward taxes and other surcharges, or optional products and services including fuel, additional driver fee, one-way rental charge or optional items. No more than seven free rental day certificates may be redeemed toward one rental. The promotion is void where prohibited by law, and certain blackout dates may apply.
