Isuzu Motors America Matches Employees' Donations to Katrina Relief

CERRITOS, Calif., Sept. 1 -- Isuzu Motors America, Inc., announced today that it will match all donations made by its employees to the American Red Cross for support of Hurricane Katrina relief efforts.

According to the company, Isuzu "has committed to match, dollar for dollar, the total donations Isuzu associates contribute for the support of relief efforts. The monies will be donated through the American Red Cross to assist in providing shelter, food, counseling and other assistance to those in need."

Earlier this year, Isuzu Motors Limited of Japan and its overseas affiliates contributed over 41 million yen to support disaster relief in areas affected by the severe earthquake off the coast of Sumatra and the subsequent giant tsunamis in the Indian Ocean.
