Sprint Brings Thrill of NASCAR NEXTEL Cup Series to Inner-City Youth; Sprint to Present $2,000 Donation to Magic Johnson Foundation
--WHAT: Sprint has partnered with The National Association for Stock Car Auto Racing (NASCAR) and Magic Johnson Theaters to bring the thrill of NASCAR to inner-city youth. Children from Los Angeles area youth organizations will visit the Magic Johnson Theater in Inglewood, Calif. for a private screening of Herbie: Fully Loaded. The kids will also receive NASCAR NEXTEL Cup Series(TM) gift bags and have the opportunity to meet professional stock car drivers. Kerry McGonigal, Director, Business Solutions at Sprint will present the Magic Johnson Foundation with a $2,000 check to benefit inner-city youth.
