Budget Offers Neighborhood Deal Starting At $18 a Day

PARSIPPANY, N.J., Aug. 30, 2005 -- Need a roomier vehicle to move your kid back to school this fall? Want a sportier car to explore the countryside's autumn foliage? Then, look no further than Budget. Budget Rent A Car System, Inc. today announced a back to school/fall savings promotion at neighborhood Budget locations. Now through December 15th, customers can rent a compact car (Ford Focus or similar) for just $18 a weekend day or $139 a week. A mid-size vehicle (Ford Mustang sedan or similar) is $26 a weekend day or $174 a week, and a full-size (Ford Taurus or similar), is just $29 a weekend day or $194 a week.

Larger vehicles such as minivans (Ford Freestar or similar) and SUVs (Ford Explorer or similar) are also available at discounted rates. Customers can rent a minivan or standard SUV for $42 a weekend day or $234 a week for a minivan, and $239 a week for the standard SUV.

This promotion is valid for rentals at approximately 400 neighborhood Budget locations in the United States for pickup through December 15, 2005. This offer is not valid at airport locations.
