SCOTT TURNS RARE MIDWEST FOCUS APPEARANCE INTO WIN
INDIANAPOLIS – Chase Scott of Concord, N.C. turned Saturday’s rare USAC
Midwest Ford Focus Midget Car Series appearance into victory at Mansfield

closer to defending his series title.
Scott, the reigning Carolina/Virginia Ford Focus titlist, and Martz finished
one-two in the 25-lapper. Scott, who set the evening’s fast time in his No.
4 Real Race Cars Beast/Ford Focus, passed Martz on Lap 6 and was never
headed, beating James Robertson, Martz, Stephanie Mockler and Kyle Robbins

Sparta, Ky., in which the series shares its weekend with the NASCAR AutoZone
