Subaru Again Drives Sponsorship of the Head of the Schuylkill Regatta

PHILADELPHIA, Aug. 26, 2005 -- For the 8th consecutive year, Subaru of America, Inc. will be a sponsor of the 36th Annual Thomas Eakins Head of the Schuylkill Regatta, which will be held on October 29, 2005. Subaru is the "The Official Vehicle" of the Head of the Schuylkill Regatta.

The 36th Annual Thomas Eakins Head of the Schuylkill Regatta will take place on Saturday, October 29, 2005 in Fairmount Park, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. The Regatta holds the title of the largest one-day Regatta in the world and is the premier Philadelphia fall regatta. Over 30,000 participants and spectators travel to Philadelphia each October for ten hours of continuous rowing. Rowers of all rowing abilities, from High School and College participants to Elite and Olympic level rowers, will compete on the 2.75 mile racecourse between the Twin Bridges, in East Falls, and Boathouse Row.
