Kalamazoo Speedway "Student Night" Scheduled for Saturday Night

Evening to Also Include Autographs and Fireworks

(KALAMAZOO, Mich) - What a great way to end the summer.at Kalamazoo
Speedway. Before the kids head back to school, head to the track for an
exciting night of family entertainment. Saturday, August 27 is the final
"Student Night" and "Autograph Night" for the 2005 season. The evening will
end with a bang with the final fireworks display of the season as well. 

 

Students ages 17 and younger can get in to the races at Kalamazoo Speedway
on the 27th for just $2. Admission for adults is $10. Gates will open at 4
p.m., with practice also at 4 p.m. All cars will be on the track by 6 p.m.
and everyone is invited to go down on the track and visit with the drivers,
get autographs and take pictures.

 

At 7:15 p.m. sharp the NASCAR Dodge Weekly Series season gets underway, with
the 4-in-1 show including the Super Late Models, Limited Late Models, Sport
Stocks and Pure Stocks.

 

Fireworks will take place following the final race of the evening.

Kalamazoo Speedway, located just south of "D" Avenue on Ravine Road, is
Michigan's only NASCAR sanctioned short track. At 3/8-mile, it is also the
fastest oval track of its size in the world. Opened in 1950, the track has
been under the ownership of the Howe family since the 2001 season. For more
